High-Precision Measurement

Basic accuracy of capacitance C, inductance L and impedance Z is ±0.05%. Dissipation factor D accuracy is ±0.0005 and quality factor Q accuracy is ±0.05%.

Component Graphical Sweep

The WK6500B series precision impedance analyzers not only provide high-frequency, high-precision measurement. The device is also a component analyzer with rich features.
Curve sweep can simultaneously display curves of any two parameters on a high-definition large color screen based on frequency, voltage value and DC bias current source. Display formats include series or parallel equivalent circuits.

When measuring a single frequency, it can be switched from curve sweep to standard LCR meter reading mode.

Variable Output and Bias Source

AC output is selectable up to 1V or 20mA, enabling evaluation of components in a real operating environment. The variable bias DC source can provide current up to 100mA.

External Control

During quality control or profile creation, the instrument can be controlled and readings collected via the GPIB interface.
The network interface also has the same functions of controlling the instrument and transmitting data – enabling the instrument to adapt to many different test environments.

Multiple Interface Options

The VGA interface can be connected to a PC monitor or projector, providing immeasurable value for production environments and teaching/training. The unit can also be operated via an external keyboard and mouse; any PS2 or USB keyboard and mouse can be easily plugged into the system, providing another feasible way to control and operate the instrument.

Data Storage and Retrieval

All test results and settings can be stored via the network interface or USB flash drive.

Bin Handler Interface

Bin Handler is an optional setting, providing isolated (24V) and non-isolated (5V) signals through a 25-pin D connector.

Printer Output

Test results can be printed in several different ways, including direct printing to an HP-PCL compatible graphics printer, an EPSON compatible text printer, or directly via the instrument's network port over a LAN.

DUT Connection

Two-terminal, three-terminal or four-port connections and possible grounding conditions can be achieved through the BNC connectors on the panel. Many optional accessories are available for different test needs.
