The AEL-5000 series AC/DC electronic loads feature built-in 16-bit A/D and DSP precision measurement circuits, providing accurate measurement values. The measurement items include voltage root mean square (rms), current root mean square (Arms), watt value (Watt), volt-ampere (VA), crest factor (CF), power factor (PF), total harmonic distortion (THD), voltage total harmonic distortion (VTHD), current total harmonic distortion (ITHD), peak current (lpeak), maximum current (Amax), minimum current (Amin), maximum voltage (max), and minimum voltage (min). In addition to these measurement functions, time measurement is also provided, such as the trip or blow time of products like UPS, fuses and circuit breakers, and the transfer time of Of-lineUPS (Transfertime). The AC rectified mode of the AEL-5000 series AC/DC electronic load fully complies with IEC test specification requirements for UPS and PVInverter, namely IEC62040-3 UPSEficiencyMeasurementnon- LinearandIEC61 683ResistivePlusNon-Linear. The AC rectified load mode of the AEL 5000 series uses CC+CR load mode and maintains the current THD at 80% to simulate the electronic devices actually connected to the PVInverter. The AEL-5000 series AC/DC electronic load specially features built-in test modes required for various products, including the AC section's UPS,Inverter,Fuse/Breaker,AC PowerSource, and the DC section's Battery,Fuse/Breaker,DCPowerSource, etc. The AEL-5000 series load adds TYPE1~TYPE3 , a total of two battery discharge tests, allowing users to select the appropriate battery test mode as needed. The test results can be displayed directly on the LCD display, including the battery's AH capacity, voltage value after discharge, cumulative discharge time and other data. The AEL-5000 series load provides multi-unit parallel and three-phase application functions, enabling users to perform higher-power or three-phase AC power supply test applications. This allows more flexible and elastic use of the AEL-5000 series AC electronic load, to save costs. In parallel 1 three-phase operation., users operate it just like a single unit, only needing to operate the Master, and Slave1 and Slave2 will automatically perform the loading and measurement of that phase. The AEL-5000 series AC/DC electronic load has specially developed the FuseTest  function for the test verification of current protection components, enabling the use of an electronic load with a rated current and power to test and verify such protection components. When Turbomode ( multiplier mode) is set to ON, within a 1-second test time, the test current can be multiplied up to 2 times the rated current.
