The highest level of operational safety - features include: HSSD™ High-Speed Solid-State Discharge – removes exposed voltage faster than previous resistor designs; SFI Safety Fault Interrupt – shuts down output within 50us of detection; TLSS™ Test Lead Safety Sense - continuously verifies that test leads are properly connected before and during high-voltage and continuity tests; recessed start switch prevents accidental activation; dual-channel current measurement detects ground leakage faults;

The fastest high-voltage insulation tester available today - with our Dual Coldfire® microprocessors and dual DSPs, it provides ramp rates up to 50KV/sec, dwell times as low as 20ms, and total measurement times as fast as 3ms in the optional momentary high-voltage test mode;

Large-capacity test sequence memory - stores up to 100 test contents, each test can contain 100 steps. Testing can be performed via the front panel, RS232 or digital I/O, or with optional GPIB/Ethemet;

Ground bond test capability - three modes available, output current from 100mA to 40Amps RMS, test time from 20ms to 1000 seconds or longer.

High-voltage scanner control – switchable to up to 256 points, handled through the standard VICL auxiliary control port. The scanner can carry voltages up to 15KV and currents up to 40A, meeting multi-point high-voltage insulation test and ground bond test requirements;
