GW Instek introduces the new multi-channel hipot tester—the GPT-9500 series. The series offers 2 models with a built-in 8-channel scanner box. These products comply with safety regulations including IEC, EN, UL, CSA, GB, and JIS. The series meets the routine testing needs of general electronic components and winding components.

The GPT-9500 series is a 3-in-1 multi-channel tester offering AC withstand voltage (up to 5 kV), DC withstand voltage (up to 6 kV), and insulation resistance (up to 1000 V). Designed to meet the IEC-61010-2-034 standard, the series is built on an AC 150 VA output platform. The 8 channels of the GPT-9513 can be set to H, L, or X according to test requirements, making it particularly suited to winding components such as transformers, where multiple points on a single component are tested against one another. The 8 channels of the GPT-9503 offer only H or X settings, which is better suited to general components such as passive devices for high-voltage testing between two points.
