The MFG-2000 series multi-channel arbitrary waveform signal generators launched by GW Instek include the basic MFG-21XX and the advanced MFG-22XX series. The MFG-21XX series outputs include a single-channel 10M/20M/30M/60MHz arbitrary waveform signal generator output; a 25MHz pulse signal generator; a 160MHz or 320MHz RF generator (MFG-2160MF/MFG-2160MR) and a power amplifier (MFG-2120MA only); the MFG-22XX series includes 30MHz/60MHz and other performance dual-channel arbitrary waveform signal generator outputs, a 25MHz pulse signal generator; a 160MHz or 320MHz RF generator (MFG-2260MFA/MFG-2260MRA) and a power amplifier (MFG-2260MFA/MFG-2260MRA only).

      The MFG-2000 series can output up to 5 types of channels simultaneously (MFG-2260MFA/MFG-2260MRA), including CH1 and CH2 as two 60MHz equal-performance dual-channel AFGs (arbitrary waveform signal generators); the RF generator, in addition to being a standard AFG, can also generate sine waves up to 320MHz and various modulated RF signals; the pulse signal generator, with a frequency up to 25MHz; the power amplifier, which is an amplifier suitable for the audio range. These 5 different functional channels are distributed across 10 models, starting from the basic single-channel AFG plus pulse signal generator, up to models equipped with 5 types of channels simultaneously, which can meet teaching and industrial applications in a variety of fields.

      The AFG channels in the MFG-2000 can output sine waves, square waves, triangle waves and other commonly used waveforms. It further features "true point-by-point output" arbitrary waveform characteristics with a 200MS/s sampling rate, 100MHz waveform repetition rate, 14-bit resolution, and 16k-point memory depth; some models feature AM/FM/PM/FSK/PWM modulation, Sweep, Burst, Trigger, 150MHz Frequency Counter and other functions. For models with synchronized dual channels, the two output signals of CH1 and CH2 can generate correlated signals such as synchronized, delayed, added, and channel-coupled signals. The RF generator is a fully functional AFG signal source (including ARB); in addition to various modulation, Sweep and other functions, it also adds digital modulation such as ASK and PSK, and the sine wave frequency can reach 320MHz. The 25MHz pulse generator is standard equipment; the independently outputtable pulse generator is a fully functional pulse signal source. In addition to the general adjustable pulse width, its leading and trailing edge time is adjustable, and it can be used as a trigger signal application. The independently inputtable/outputtable power amplifier with up to 20W power output and 20dB amplification gain has a DC-100KHz bandwidth and < 0.1% low distortion, and can be used for audio signal applications.
