DTA-4100 Sonar Underwater Acoustic Data Recording and Playback System
Model:DTA-4100 Country of Origin:USA
Category:Data Acquisition and Playback
Overview:
The DTA-4100 is designed for high-frequency, high-precision, and high-channel-count sonar and acoustic applications. This DTA-4100 is conduction-cooled and connects to the outside world via two visible optical fibers: one 10-gigabit optical fiber for data and one gigabit optical fiber for control. Therefore, the DTA-4100 can be placed close to the sensors. For many complex sonar/acoustic applications, this simplifies cabling issues and avoids the problem of having to drive and manage analog cables over very long distances through the sensors.

The DTA-4100 is divided into two parts: receive (DTA-4100R) and transmit (DTA-4100T). Each part is a conduction-cooled 36-channel system that uses a 10 Gigabit fiber optic network for data and a separate Gigabit fiber optic network for control. DC power (28V) is provided by an external source. Multiple DTA-4100 receive and transmit units can be operated synchronously to handle large sensor arrays. In addition, for lower-speed applications, data from multiple DTA-4100 devices can be combined onto a single 10 Gigabit network.
The DTA-4100 is also available in a 19" rack-mount chassis configured to user requirements.
The DTA-4100 plugs easily into D-TA's 10 Gigabit sensor processing equipment, enabling functions including real-time processing and record/playback.
