When analyzing and designing a system in the frequency domain, frequency-domain specifications are usually used as the basis; however, they are not as direct and accurate as time-domain specifications. Therefore, the relationship between frequency-domain specifications and time-domain specifications must be further explored. Considering the widespread application of logarithmic frequency characteristics in control engineering, this paper takes the Bode plot as the starting point, first discussing the relationship between the shape of the open-loop logarithmic magnitude-frequency characteristic and the performance specifications, and then estimating the time-domain response performance of the system based on the relationship between frequency-domain specifications and time-domain specifications.
