Introduced in 1997, the PSM2200 frequency response analyzer was N4L Newton Technology's first-generation frequency response product and enjoyed considerable success in its day. At the time, engineers measuring low-frequency amplifiers, filters, and switching power supply loops had to rely on expensive network analyzers—instruments that were complex to operate and therefore seldom used.
The PSM2200 was designed as a 19-inch rack-mount automated instrument. As the power supply and low-frequency response markets evolved, engineers increasingly favored standalone, portable designs for greater overall test efficiency, and the PSM2200's architecture began to look dated and out of step with market demand.
N4L's innovative PSM3750 emerged in response. A revolutionary product from N4L, it reaches 50 MHz, withstands test voltages up to 500 V, and also supports impedance analysis and other functions, offering outstanding value and competitive advantage. The PSM3750 and its companion products were officially launched in June 2013, with Ligao Instruments Co., Ltd. – Jiechuang Ligao Instruments Co., Ltd. as sole general agent for China.
